Multistep formatting

Summary

With the plugin “SC::Complex- multistep formatting” you can edit an attribute with more plugins.

For example the edit from “SC::String – format string” in a value list. The multistep formatting makes it possible to further processing the string for the system.

Example

Insert the attribute and select the function “SC::Date – format date with param value” in the dropdown menu.

Click on the red marked button for the extended settings to open a new window.
Here you set your value that should be transferred to your system.

Value Description Example
Transformations consisting of several steps. Values are transformed from top to bottom – the result value of one line is the source value of the next line. To add an attribute click on the add button and select how the attribute should be formatted. The first result of a plugin will be the initial value for the next plugin.
Alternative formatting This plugin will be executed if it is required by a condition.

In this example a new number will be fixed with the “SC::String – send param value”.

Details/limitations

Multistep formatting are transformed from the first to the next plugin. That means the first value is the start value for the next transformation.
