Stations

Adding stations

Now you can add a station to the SAWSConnector module. In order to do so, navigate to the SAWSConnector module and click on the “Add new station” button:

The following dialogue will open up:

Enter a name for your station and choose the shop system that you would like to connect to (in this case, Magento) as application:

You can now add a new source data set. In order to do so, select “Add new set” from the drop-down menu and enter a name for the set. You can configure the new data set later on in the process (please see our chapter “Source data set” for further details).

Alternatively, you can choose a data set that already exists or that you added earlier in the process. In order to do so, please select “Use existing set” from the drop down menu and click on the “plus” button that appears:

A dialogue will open up that displays all source data sets that are available for the Magento application:

Click on the desired source data set. It will then be moved to the right hand side of the screen as the selected set. Click on the “ok” button to confirm your choice:

Your source data set will be displayed in the “Add new station” dialogue. Following that, please indicate wether this station is supposed to synchronize to a productive, a test or a development system and set a color for your station. Click on the “ok” button to save your entries and to create the station:

A new window containign the station overview will pop up. It should look something like this:

Editing and configuring stations

After you have created a new station, you will be taken to the station overview:

Click on the “ station” button on the right handside of the screen:

Alternatively, you can click on the “ station” button of any desired station you added earlier:

The station will open in the edit mode:

Enter the URL to the application and to the SAWS connector of the application – you can relative paths if Magento and CONTENTSERV run on the same machine or absolute paths if they are installed on different machines:

Next, set the root node from the CS PIM View Tree from which you would like to synchronize data. The snychronization of single subtrees can later on be configured in the jobs. Click on the arrow button:

A dialogue will open up, showing you the CS PIM View tree. In the example below, we chose the folder “Main Shop” as a root node. The red mark shows you the subtrees that will be included in the synchronization for the example:

Double-click on the desired node. The dialogue will close down again and your root node will be displayed in the field:

Following that, you can enter login credentials of the username that is to be used for the synchronization into your shop system. Please note that you will only need these credentials if you have an htaccess protection in place!

When you are finished with the settings, save them by using the save button in the upper left handside of the screen:

Click on the overview tab on the upper left handside of the screen to get back to the station overview:
