Shopify Mediaupload Field Plugin

This field plugin is used for the Shopify Transmitter. We also provide a configured Template.

Configuration of the base datamap

In the base datamap there are two options, depending on the use case:

 

Key mediaUpload upload
Allowed values Image, Video, 3d-Model File, Image, Video, 3d-Model
Upload While processing the object Before processing the product
Example Use-Case Product image PDF File that needs to be appended as a Metafield

Configuration of the field plugin

Select the file type that is sent to Shopify in the configuration.

The “SourceField” should either be “SourceField” or an attribute of type “DAM-Reference”. As Export Plugin you need “Loop Head” where you can create an array.

The array needs the following values:

  • filename
  • exportURL
  • alt (optional)
  • lastChange

 
Important: The filename is used to identifiy the file in Shopify so this must be unique
