Bundle products

Configure bundle products in the CS PIM for Magento

A bundle combines several child products. A bundle consists of one or several options that each contain a vairety of simple products. Customers can select no, one or several simple products as options (made available either as radio button, drop down menu, checkbox, simple select box etc).
Each item in the bundle is a separate, standalone product.

Notice: If you have not already done so, please activate the SAWS Datamodel for Complex Articles Activation

Navigate in the PIM Studio and open a bundle product in the edit mode.
Set the Magento product type to “Bundled product”:

Since cs16 supports multiclassing, now products can be assigned to multiple classes (in CS15 the classes must be assigned manually).
For bundle products please assign the bundle products class:

The Magento Bundle Product – Class is created automatically by activating the Complex articles Datamodel (see SAWS Datamodel for Complex Articles above).

You can finde the Attributes for Magento Bundle Products in the CS Settings:

Now you can configure the bundle head values:

Navigate in the PIM Studio and open a bundle product in the edit mode. In the tab “SAWSConnector” you find the bundle head values:

Please configure the bundle head values according to the tabel below.

Meaning of the settings for the bundle head

Label Description Example
Bundle price type Dynamic: Price will be changed according to the options selected

Fixed: Head has the price for the complete bundle

Bundle price view Values: Price range, As Low as As Low as
Bundle sku type Values: dynamic, fixed dynamic
Bundle weight type Values: dynamic, fixed dynamic
Bundle shipment type Values: collectively, separately collectively

Now you can create the bundle items in the table for complex articles.

Notice: Here you will find the instructions how to fill the table for complex articles automatically.

Navigate in the PIM Studio and open a bundle product in the edit mode. In the tab “SAWSConnector” you find the table “SC::Complex Article”. Klick on the add button and configure the values for the single bundle product as shown below.

 

Meaning of the settings for a single bundle in Magento

Now you have to assign the bundle values for every single bundle product.

Navigate to the single products and add the SC_MAGENTOCLASS_VALUE class:

 

The Magento Bundle Values – class is also created automatically by activating the Complex Articles Datamodel (see SAWS Datamodel for Complex Articles above)
