default_sort_by

The default_sort_by defines which options/parameters are sortable on the category page. According the “Available Product Listing Sort By” you can modify the sort mode . You can find the field in magento under the section Catalog > Manage Categories > Display Settings.

– Vaues: According “available_sort_by” i.e. Best Value, Name, Price …
