Using another Excel Template File for the Export

(Added in version 1.18.0)

You can do this only in the right click export with the Contentserv Context Menu

Job Settings

First you need to select ‘Path to XLS template file’ in your job settings for context export

Creating the Template

Make sure your Excel template has a configured header row/column and first data row/column and the name of the table is the same. You also need to make sure that your keys in your datamap match the keys in the Excel file you want to use for the template. If you have static names you can use them or you can use the name of the row/column. As you can see in this example an empty template is used.

For this example this is the Excel file that is used:

 

Executing the Export

In the SAWSConnector export that you can access via the right-click in you PIM you can now select the Excel file:

 

The result in this example should look like this:
